The IfT Institut für Talententwicklung exists to support the needs of Trades and Industries, institutions of higher education.

The IfT provides help, guidance and support to young people (both school pupils and college students) in their next steps – whether this means continuing in higher education or finding the right vocational training opportunities. The IfT provides careers guidance and brings together young people and suitable employers, institutions or universities.

The IfT supports secondary schools in their work with occupational orientation - for the future professional life of the pupils.

The IfT is committed to valuable vocational orientation. IfT cooperates with well-known organisations, Ministries of Education, public institutions and educational administrations both in Germany and abroad.

The activities of IfT:

a) Conception, development and organisation of around 35 educational guidance fairs (partial transnational to neighbouring countries)

b) Conception, development and organisation of vocational education events (“TALENTUM“ conferences , "parentum" - parents evenings of vocational choice called "parentum“ and several thousand school presentations annually, further education conferences, e.g. "BILDEA" in Neumünster.)

c) Creation of publications informing young people and parents of trades and industries, universities, vocational training opportunities  and professional institutions. The publications also provide careers advice and help with job applications and the transition from educational to working life  (circulation of 200,000 copies every year)

d) The IfT website www.erfolg-im-beruf.de contains further information on our work. It informs young people, parents and teachers of participating exhibitors of the educational guidance fairs "vocatium" and "nordjob", the partners of the parent´s evenings of vocational choice and the conference programmes.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Repeatedly a company called "Expo Guide" adresses our exhibitors with the request to conduct an update of the existing index of exhibitors. On the order form they state: "We administrate your to date free regristration....." - In the small print of the order form it is also stated that an update is binding for 3 years and that a yearly fee of 1.181,- EUR will be charged.

We hereby explicit want to point out that the company "Expo Guide" and their way of doing business has absolutely nothing to do with us and the participation of our educational guidance fairs!
We hence strongly advice you NOT to react to the offer of the company called "Expo Guide".
